Pakistan Cuts Petrol, Diesel Prices in Bid to Boost Economy 

Oct.16 : In an effort to stimulate economic growth, Pakistan has taken measures to address the declining global petroleum prices. As per the finance ministry’s statement, petrol prices will witness a significant reduction, decreasing by 40 Pakistani rupees ($0.144) per liter to reach 283.38 rupees effective October 16. Simultaneously, the cost of high-speed diesel will also decrease by 15 rupees, making it 303.18 rupees per liter. These changes aim to provide economic relief and encourage growth.
