Usher to Headline the Super Bowl Halftime Show: Get Ready for an Epic Performance!

LOS ANGELES (AP) — Get ready for a thrilling halftime show at the Super Bowl! Usher, the Grammy-winning sensation, is set to take center stage at the Apple Music Super Bowl Halftime Show in Las Vegas.

On February 11, from Allegiant Stadium, Usher will lead the halftime festivities. The NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation made the exciting announcement, and fans can’t wait to witness this musical spectacle. With eight Grammy wins under his belt, Usher expressed his excitement about performing on the NFL’s grandest stage.

Usher shared, “It’s an honor of a lifetime to finally check a Super Bowl performance off my bucket list. I can’t wait to bring the world a show unlike anything else they’ve seen from me before.”

Usher’s journey to superstardom soared with his iconic album “Confessions,” which sold over 10 million units in the U.S. and earned him three Grammy awards in 2005. Hits like “Yeah!” featuring Ludacris and Lil Jon, “Burn,” and “Confessions Part II” made this album a classic. The special edition even included the smooth duet “My Boo” with Alicia Keys. Next year marks the 20th anniversary of this epic album.

Currently headlining his sold-out “Usher: My Way” residency in Las Vegas, Usher is also gearing up for an eight-night performance block in Paris. He will conclude his Las Vegas residency in early December before making his Super Bowl halftime appearance.

Aside from his music career, Usher has coached on NBC’s “The Voice” and appeared in films like “Hustlers” and “Light It Up.”

Jay-Z, the founder of Roc Nation, hailed Usher as the ultimate “artist and showman,” praising his unique journey since his debut at the age of 15. Usher’s discography includes eight studio albums, featuring hits such as “U Got It Bad,” “U Remind Me,” “You Make Me Wanna,” “Nice & Slow,” and “Love In This Club” with Jeezy.

Jay-Z added, “Beyond his flawless singing and exceptional choreography, Usher bares his soul. His remarkable journey has propelled him to one of the grandest stages in the world. I can’t wait to see the magic.”

The halftime show’s co-executive producers will be Roc Nation and Emmy-winning producer Jesse Collins, with Hamish Hamilton returning as director. This collaboration between the NFL, Apple Music, and Roc Nation follows last year’s spectacular halftime show featuring a pregnant Rihanna suspended above the field.
